Los Angeles, California – May 18, 2023 – Physicians Cannabinoid Council (PCC), a consortium of physicians and specialists in the fields of family medicine, internal medicine, rheumatology, pain management, endocrinology, and nephrology, has recognized Hempeutics Pharmacy for becoming the first pharmacy to successfully pass the “Physicians Quality Verified” certification program. In an effort to lead the fight against unregulated CBD products, the PCCouncil launched their product certification program for brands to obtain their Physicians Quality Verified Seal. These programs assist the industry in the furthering of self-regulation, which is necessary to deliver quality and effective products to the public. To successfully pass the program, the entity in question must meet the following criteria:
Good Manufacturing Practice
Labeling and Potency accuracy
Quality Tested and Verified by PCC
Clean Product Excellence
“I am honored to be certified by the physician cannabinoid council. We are one of the only pharmacies that specializes in cannabinoid compounding to help with specific health concerns. My background in pharmaceuticals and chemistry helps me develop all aspects of our products that are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill. Since its creation, the Quality Verified Seal has gained the support from CBD companies and providers, who now have an avenue for ensuring the quality of their products and ability to distinguish themselves from the competition and demonstrate to consumers that their product is of superior standards . The Physicians CBD Council also recognizes the importance of educating consumers about the proper use of CBD and finding quality products. Having launched in October of 2022, the Physicians CBD Council has quickly become the gold standard in CBD oversight.
