Raleigh, North Carolina – November 04, 2022 – Presented by MBT Marketing Solutions & Associates & Totally Beautifully Moments, Paint & Sip Event was held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Wake Forest Grand Ballroom 203 Capcom Ave Suite #114 Wake Forest, North Carolina. The theme of the event was “Painting with Mourning to Joy.” This event was a successful effort by Marilyn Bryant Tucker, the owner of MBT Marketing Solutions and Associates. She organized this event to revitalize her late husband’s memories and support others in their grief journey. The event, by all accounts, was a supportive activity for the participants who learned how to express their grief through art and painting.
The event took place from 3 pm to 6 pm in a relaxing ambiance with a great turnout. The participants drew a blue butterfly, which symbolizes hope, change, and new beginnings. Artist Marcia Mitchell Maness, the owner of Creatively Yours….Ze’, was at the event to provide step-by-step instructions to the participants through the painting process. The event was an amazing experience for the participants. They were entertained with delicious refreshments & non-alcoholic beverages.
The major goal of the Paint & Sip event was to provide education and support to families and individuals grieving the loss of a loved one or any other setback in their lives. Those attending were not asked to identify the source of their grief. Most participants described this grief paint event as a perfect idea.
The event was so successful and effective that the organizer recently received a booking call of Ms. Smith from Warren County, North Carolina. She wants to book this event to host it in Warren County. She works with a grief group and wants to offer a great experience to group members through this event.
Participants were also entertained with smooth jazz music. The event was held in a friendly environment full of bonding opportunities and laughter.
While describing the purpose and importance of the Paint & Sip event, Marilyn Bryant Tucker, the organizer of the event, was quoted as saying:
“Loving or losing someone or something is part of life, and when we lose a loved one or something precious to us, we mourn. This event helped the participants turn their mourning into joy. It was full of people who were seeking help with their grief. The event helped the participants to know that they’re not alone and God has healing and plans for them.”
She further added:
“I created a painting with Mourning to Joy to help keep the memory of my late husband alive and support others in their grief journey. It was a blessing to be a blessing to others. I organized this event to fulfill my obligation to help others who have been in my shoes or will be in my shoes. I will continue to support them with their grief and help them celebrate their life as I am working with the purpose that “I will turn their mourning into joy” (Jeremiah 31:13).”

The paint & Sip Organizers are now taking orders from private parties for grief groups and family/friends. The organizers will provide paint supplies, painting instructions, and non-alcoholic beverage refreshments.
