The Uganda Community in Greater Chicago, UCiGC and Kilimanjaro International Inc. will host The Pre-kwanzaa and Christmas Bazaar at Hyde Park Neighborhood Club, 5480 S. Kenwood Ave, Chicago, IL, 60615 Saturday December 8, 2018 @ 3:00pm – 9:00pm and is Free and Open to the Public.

This Pre-Kwanzaa iswith a vision to invest in education & sustainable economic development for women and children.It will offer live music, arts and crafts, and food venders with African, Caribbean and African American cuisine. Also invited are President Toni Preckwinkle, Governor JB Pritzker, State Rep. Curtis Tarver, Secretary of State Jessie White, Attorney General Kwame Raoul, The Honorable Alex Gbayee and many more that are coming to celebrate with us. The Master of Ceremony will be Dr. Alfreda Holloway-Beth and Libation will be performed by Dr. William Conwill (An Elder)

This event is designed to entice and unify all communities to explore and experience the great and diverse cultures of Chicago’s international community. The Proceeds of the event will go to invest in education of women and children.
